Step 1:
Download a torrent client like uTorrent or BitTorrent and click on "create new torrent" as shown below.
Step 2:
Add the file you want to upload to the client. In the new window click on "Add file" or "Add Directory" and browse to the file location.
Step 3:
Add Trackers to your torrent. Trackers keep track of all the seeders in the network. Keep default Trackers as it is and you can add more trackers as well. Just google Trackers for the torrent.
Check Start seeding box and finally click on create. Oher fields are optional.
Your torrent file is created. Browse to the same location of your original file.
If you are making the torrent file just to share with your friend, just send them the (.torrent file). Seed the file until your friends complete the download or if you want to make your data public so that anyone can download it. Then you have to upload the .torrent file on any of the indexers such as kickass or yts. you will have to register on the website.
